A team of engineers landed in Recife Pernambuco, on 15 November, as the world's best in software testing. The competition took place in Germany and brought together teams from six continents: South America, North America, Africa, Asia, Europe and Oceania. Representing Latin America, the winning team is made up of José Carrera, Rodrigo Cursino, Melissa Bridges and Alessandra Cursino. They qualified for the competition after overcoming 36 participants in the first stage, held in September. In the competition, the teams have only known the application at the time of competition. The Compagnie Maritime Monégasque (CMM) was recently awarded the contract with Petrobras for the charter of five new boats of the type Fast Oil Spill Response Vessel, which will be built by the Damen Shipyard Group.
Three vessels will come into operation in late December 2015 and another two at the end of June 2016. The contract signed four years has the value of $ 130 million and is mutually extended for another four years.
